November News
Dear Parents,
The children are enjoying various language arts activities that are involved in our reading programs. We will continue our work with the "th", "ch", and "sh" sounds. Remember to write them as well as say them when practicing at home. The more the children are exposed to sight words the more confident they will become with them!
Math will be exciting with the newly learned skills out counting money! We will be covering counting pennies, writing money amounts, identifying before, after, and in between numbers, matching numbers to objects, and telling time.
Science will bring us to the study of wood and paper. The children will be learning the properties of both and be able to tell them apart.
November is a great month to talk about the importance of families and friends. This will be our topic in Social Studies for the next several weeks. We will be discussing the Pilgrim's and Native Americans.
